SAMBURU KENYA CAMPING SAFARI - 12 DAYS TSAVO EAST / NAIROBI / MOUNT KENYA / SAMBURU / LAKE NAKURU / MARA

Day 1 - Depart your hotel for Samburu Kenya camping safari. Drive along the Mombasa - Nairobi highway to enter Tsavo East after a short stop for tea or coffee. Enter Tsavo East throw Bachuma gate. Game drive in Tsavo East in search of red elephants, lions etc. Continue on your game viewing en route to the campsite for lunch. Afternoon game drive in Tsavo East national park. Dinner and overnight in Tsavo East Campsite or similar.

Day 2 - After breakfast game drive en route as you drive to Nairobi for lunch. Afternoon game drive in Nairobi national park, the only park in the world close to a capital city!. Dinner and overnight at The Stanely Hotel or similar.

Day 3 - After breakfast drive to Mount Kenya for lunch. After lunch drive to see the Mau Mau Caves where Kenya freedom fighters could hide to British Colony soldiers. Dinner and overnight in Mount Kenya Campsite or similar.

Day 4 - After breakfast drive to cross the equator to the semi arid Samburu reserve for lunch in the campsite. Afternoon game drive looking for grevy zebras, reticulated giraffes and other plenty of Kenya wildlife and Kenya birds in Samburu game reserve. Dinner and overnight in Samburu Campsite or similar..

Day 5 - After breakfast whole day game drive in Samburu game reserve. Lunch in the campsite. Afternoon game viewing in Samburu looking for giraffes of Samburu, elephants of Samburu, lions and other wild animals and birds found in Samburu game reserve. Dinner and overnight at Samburu Campsite or similar.

Day 6 - After breakfast drive to great rift valley region. Picnic lunch in Thomson falls. After lunch drive to watch the hot water springs in Lake Bogoria as you drive to lake Baringo. Optional boat ride in this rift valley fresh water lake. Dinner and overnight at Lake Baringo Campsite or similar.

Day 7 - After breakfast drive to Lake Nakuru park for lunch in the campsite. Afternoon game drive in Lake Nakuru looking for black and white rhinos and other wild animals like lion, leopard, buffalo etc. Dinner and overnight in Lake Nakuru campsite or similar.

Day 8 - After breakfast drive to Masai Mara for lunch in the campsite. Afternoon game viewing in Masai Mara looking for the black maned lions, elephants, buffalos, wildebeests, girafe, zebras etc. Dinner and overnight in Masai Mara Campsite or similar.

Day 9 - After breakfast whole day game drive in Masai Mara game reserve with picnic lunch at the Mara river watching hippos and crocodiles. This is the point where annual migration of wildebeests and zebras cross Masai Mara from Serengeti. Afternoon game drive in Masai Mara. Dinner and overnight in Masai Mara Campsite or similar.

Day 10 - After breakfast drive to Amboseli, lunch en route. Afternoon game drive in Amboseli, at the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro. Game drive in Amboseli park looking for lions, elephants, buffalo, leopards, giraffe, cheetah, topi, hyena etc. Drive to view Mount Kilimanjaro if weather is clear. Dinner and overnight in Amboseli Campsite or similar.

Day 11 - After breakfast game drive en route in Amboseli as you drive to Tsavo West for lunch in the campsite. Afternoon game drive looking for black rhino and other Kenya wildlife. Continue on your game spotting in Tsavo West in search of lions of Tsavo West, buffalos and elephants etc. Dinner and overnight in Tsavo West Campsite or similar.

Day12 - After breakfast drive to Mzima springs to watch hippos, crocodiles and fish in an underground observatory. Continue on with your game drive en route in Tsavo West. Lunch en route. After lunch proceed on your drive back to your hotel in Mombasa
