7 DAYS - UGANDA SAFARI TOUR

Uganda safaris package is a combination of wonderful Uganda Holiday safari programs to see the majestic mountain gorillas and other plenty of Uganda wildlife

Day 1: On arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will met by oir Uganda tour guide to brief and transfer you to Kampala town hotel for overnight.

Day 2: After breakfastdrive northwestfor an Optional visit to the Ziwa Rhino sanctuary for a nature walk to see the rare rhinos in the wild. Lunch enroute. Proceed to Murchison Falls National Park, a brief stop on top of the falls, see the Nile’s perfected beauty and marvel as it csqueezes through a 7 m canyon. The 43 meter drop of the falls creates a thunderous roar and a beautiful rainbow in the spray. Dinner and overnight in the lodge.

Day 3: After breakfast drive through  the Northern part of the park for a game drive and take photographs of elephants, buffalos, waterbucks, hippos, giraffes, lions etc. After lunch proceed for a 2 hour cruise to the bottom of the mighty Murchison falls. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: After bbeakfast drive Southwest through the Albertine Escarpment of the great Western Rift Valley. Lunch enroute. Drive through Hoima and reach the colorful town of Fort Portal, the capital of the Tooro kingdom, situated in the shadow of the fabled Mountains of the Moon, the Rwenzori.  Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 5: After breakfast game drive en route to the lodge in time for lunch.  After lunch, 2 hour trip on Kazinga Channel to see the amazing bird life and a variety of wild Animals. Enjoy an evening drive to the crater lakes region. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 6: After breakfast drive along Kasenyi track and Queen’s mile in the park see lions, elephants, buffaloes, warthogs, birds etc. After lunch drive to Kyambura gorge for a forest walk in search of the habituated chimpanzees and other primates. This gorge is 16 km long on the Rift Valley and 100 meter deep. Dinner and overnight in the lodge.

Day 7: After breakfast, leave for the Ishasha sector of the park for a game drive in search of the tree climbing lions. Enjoy your packed lunch in picnic. After the game drive in the park. After lunch drive back to Kambala arriving on time for an evening flight back.

Day 8: After breakfast set off for the mountains gorilla tracking in Bwindi forest. Gorilla tracking is enriching and rewarding as you walk through the thick rain forest. After tracking, set off on a scenic journey to Kabale through the beautiful terrain of the rolling hills with terraced landscape. An area referred to as the Switzerland of Africa. After lunch Leave Lake Bunyonyi for Kambala arriving on time for an evening flight back.

9 DAYS - GORILLA SAFARI TOUR

On arrival at Entebbe International Airport , our representative will meet greet and transfer to Kampala for overnight.

Day 2-The marvelous Murchison falls on the Nile

After an early breakfast, leave Kampala heading northwest. Optional :Visit the Ziwa Rhino sanctuary for a nature walk to see the rare rhinos in the wild. Lunch enroute. Proceed to Murchison Falls National Park, with  a brief stop  on the top of the falls, where you can see the Nile’s perfected beauty and marvel as it csqueezes through a seven meter canyon. The 43 meter drop of the falls creates a thunderous roar and a beautiful rainbow in the spray. Dinner and overnight.

Day 3 - The boat cruise on the river Nile

Today we drive through  the Northern part of the park for a game drive and take photographs of elephants, buffalos, waterbucks, hippos, giraffes, Uganda kobs, lions and if you are lucky, the leopards, plus a variety of bird species. After lunch, proceed for a two-hour cruise to the bottom of the mighty Murchison falls. This is an opportunity to see the amazing hippos and crocodiles along the riverbanks. Return for dinner and overnight.

Day 4 - Fort Portal in the shadow of the Mountains of the Moon

Transfer from Murchison Falls NP driving Southwest through the Albertine Escarpment of the great Western Rift Valley. Lunch enroute. Drive through Hoima and reach the colorful and beautiful town of Fort Portal, the capital of the Tooro kingdom, situated in the shadow of the fabled “Mountains of the Moon,” the Rwenzori.  Dinner and overnight.

Day 5:  Queen Elizabeth National Park, the Pearl of Uganda

Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park after breakfast. Have a game drive en –route  arriving at the lodge in time for lunch.  After lunch, enjoy the two hour launch trip on the Kazinga Channel fto see the amazing bird life and a variety of wild Animals. An evening drive to the crater lakes region is rewarding. Dinner & overnight.

Day 6: The habituated chimpanzees of Kyambura Gorge

Take an early morning cup of coffee before setting off for a game drive along Kasenyi track and Queen’s mile in the park and expect to see lions, elephants, buffaloes, warthogs and lots of animals and birds. Get back to the lodge for breakfast. After lunch, drive to Kyambura gorge for a forest walk in search of the habituated chimpanzees and other primates. The chimps are quite mobile and viewing them is unpredictable but the walk is great adventure. This gorge is 16 km long on the Rift Valley and 100 meter deep. Dinner & overnight.

Day 7: The tree climbing lions in Ishasha

After breakfast, leave for the Ishasha sector of the park for a game drive in search of the tree climbing lions. Packed lunch. After the game drive proceed to Bwindi for dinner and overnight.

Day 8: The magic encounter with the mountains gorillas

Early breakfast and briefing from the guides before you set off for the mountains gorilla tracking in the Bwindi forest. You need to carry drinking water, packed lunch, a rain jacket and jungle boots while the rangers will provide you with a walking stick. Gorilla tracking is enriching and rewarding as you walk through the thick rain forest.  After tracking, set off on a scenic journey to Kabale through the beautiful terrain of the rolling hills with terraced landscape. An area referred as the "Switzerland of Africa”. Dinner and overnight at lake Bunyonyi.

Day 9: The fabulous scenery of Lake Bunyonyi

Our day starts with a two hour boat ride on Lake Bunyonyi around the various islands on the lake for bird viewing, sight seeing and discovering the sites of the Bakiga culture. Return to Kampala with lunch enroute. Along the way you will see  Ankole long horned cattle, banana plantations, drum makers, papyrus swamps ,roadside barbecue and friendly people to bargain with, arriving on time for an evening flight back.
